Meet The Authors

Enza Maia-Cottone

I never thought I would be the one writing about grief. But when I lost my husband, everything changed. My world went from full and familiar to confusing and empty almost overnight. I could not find the words to explain the pain I felt, so I started writing them down instead. What began as a way to survive slowly became a way to heal. My writing became a promise to myself—and to you—that even in the darkest times, we matter.

Life After His Death was born out of the real tears, the real questions, and the real moments when I was not sure if I could keep going. I wrote every word as if I was sitting across the table from you, sharing a cup of coffee, telling you that you are not alone. I know the feeling of waking up to a life you did not ask for. I know what it is like to wonder if happiness will ever feel real again. But I also know that love never dies, and that it is possible to find strength you never knew you had.

I do not have all the answers, but I do have something just as important—honesty, hope, and a heart that understands. I believe that grief and purpose can live in the same life. I believe that carrying your love forward can be the greatest tribute you ever give. Through every chapter, I want you to feel seen, heard, and believed in. Because you matter. Your story matters. Your tomorrow still matters.

Thank you for trusting me to walk part of this journey with you. If my story can give you even a tiny light on your hardest days, then it has done what it was meant to do. Together, we can build a life that honors our love and embraces a new kind of hope.
